A type of material extrusion additive manufacturing that uses concrete as the build material. The system consists of a way to pump the viscous and heavy concrete to a print head and a print head that is robotically controlled or mounted on a gantry. In most cases, the system is placed at the construction site and removed after manufacturing, unlike most additive manufacturing systems, where the final part is removed from the system.

Also called Three-Dimensional Concrete Printing.

Abbreviated as ACE.
