A modification to Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) that uses an ultra-fine laser beam with a diameter with half the width of a standard SLS laser. By combining the smaller laser diameter with a finer polymer pattern, a device with FDR technology can produce parts with small feature sizes with good accuracy. FDR is a process developed by EOS.

Abbreviated as FDR.
