A sheet lamination metal additive manufacturing process. Aluminum sheet metal is laser cut to create the build layer and then a chemical is added as a mold release for places where the layer will not bond to the next layer. Each layer is added and selectively coated until the full height is created. The resulting block is then compressed and heated to create a diffusion bond between layers where not masked. The unwanted geometry is removed to create the final part. This technology is offered by Alloy Enterprises.
