A type of sheet lamination additive manufacturing that uses ultrasonic energy to weld thin layers of metal together. A mill is then used to cut the shape of each layer. It is unique because each layer can be made of a different metal material.
Also called Ultrasonic Consolidation.
Abbreviated as UAM.
